I got five things related to Harry Potter for Christmas. Which is more than I expected to be honest. My wishlist is full of it, but usually, people don’t get that for me. Maybe they don’t know what I have and want to avoid double up on anything.
Four of the items was a gift from one of my best friends. She knows me so well. Cookbook, Ravenclaw notebook, and Funkos. It’s great!
The fifth item came from my parents and made me cry actual tears of joy.
The Lego Set, and not one of those little ones, but THE Lego Set. I had no words when I opened this gift. I could not wrap my mind around the fact that I now was the owner of this. Someone pinch my arm!? My brother and I have plans for building this while watching Harry Potter movies sometime in the near future.
Another DIY-video! Totally stole the idea from Pinterest, and other crafters, but wanted to give it a go and figured I just as well could show you guys how I made it. You can make smaller ones as well, and turn them into a pendant necklace, charm bracelet or even earrings.
I would love to hear your experiences in completing this DIY, so feel free to leave a comment below!
Christmas is just a few days away, and of course I would need some Harry Potter-themed decorations. The first decorations I made were these;
In norwegian they are called “julekurver”, but I couldn’t find an english equivalent for this term. For now I will just call them decorations, and they are simply made out of paper and book pages. I know, book pages?! How crazy am I? But in my defence I bought a Harry Potter book at the thrift store for the sole purpose of using it to make different things. I did for a while mean to use red, green, yellow and blue paper, for the four houses. But changed my mind and used only green and red, since those are christmas colours.
Have you guys made any Harry Potter themed christmas decorations? I would love to know!
